90% Draft Vision Plan is Now Live!

Thank you to everyone who has shared feedback on Richmond INSPIRE. Your input has helped shape the plan, and you now have the opportunity to review the draft and add comments directly in the document. Your continued participation will help ensure this roadmap for the Richmond Parks and Recreation System remains community driven. Links to the draft Executive Summary, the full plan, and a three-question survey are provided below. The documents and survey will be live and available for comment until March 6, 2026.

Share your thoughts on the 300-page draft of Richmond INSPIRE, the City of Richmond’s first citywide parks and recreation vision plan since the 1970s! If you do not have time to review the full plan, we encourage you to review the 13-page Executive Summary, which provides a high-level overview of the plan.

A brief three-question survey is also available. The survey is designed to gather quick feedback on the Big Moves in Richmond INSPIRE and to identify any important topics or priorities that may be missing. Participants who complete the survey will be eligible to win a $50 gift card.
